If you sometimes feel like you have a chorus of voices in our head pulling you in different directions, you're not alone. Internal family systems is founded on the idea that we are all made up of different parts that can either work harmoniously together or be polarized into chaos and discord. Throughout our lives, we collect experiences that force certain parts into seemingly maladaptive patterns that formed for the purpose of protection and survival.
